It started when Laura needed some repairs done to her home. She met with a couple contractors and finally settled on Michael…but Michael never left! After sometime Michael and Laura started dating and madly love and eventually Michael proposed to her after a romantic scavenger hunt in the snowy cold.
Michael and Laura’s beautiful Traverse City destination wedding can be summed into three words, fun, intimate and rainy!! When Jason and I arrived at the Bayshore Resort, Laura was still finishing up her make up and hair but she managed to greet us with affection and an embrace. Laughter filled the bridal suite as Laura’s sister’s helped her get into her dress, there was no shortage of hugs and smiles. The ceremony and reception was held at Vision’s at Centerpointe in Traverse City. It was beautifully decorated with beautiful linens, chiavari chairs, candles and orchids. Michael and Laura’s ceremony and reception was simply sweet and intimate with 100 of their closest family members gathered around them.
Jason and I were so happy to be a part of your big day, thank you Michael and Laura for making our time with you feel as old connected friends![]()

The rain put a little bit of a damper on the wedding but Jason and I stayed overnight and we did a “Day After Session” with Michael and Laura at one of their favorite vineyards, Willow Vineyard in Suttons Bay. The scenery was so beautiufl and it was easy for me to see why Michael and Laura were so smitten. The session at the vineyard was one of my favorite locations and I think the images speak for themselves!!
LOVE THE SHOES Michael!!

This is definitely one of my favorite shots from the wedding![]()
