I admit, I find a bit of nostalgia when my mother recollects my birth story. Usually I laugh because I envision my mother as her much younger self…according to the woman I know now. I think of myself being cute but looking like a wrinkly old man with a layer of fuzz on my head…. When we first discovered we were pregnant with twins we were warned that one of our babies was in danger of being miscarried due to a small yolk sac (vanishing twin syndrome).
