Payment policy? and charging upfront?
-When you book your lifestyle session, 100% of the session fee is due to hold the date. If you select one of our lifestyle collections the remainder balance is due the day of the shoot. If you decide to order a la carte funds will be due at the time your place your order. I have learned that dealing with money is just better in the beginning and I hope this isn’t an inconvenience to you.

How long do sessions last?
-Depending on the session, I offer mini-sessions which last about 30 minutes and lifestyle sessions that range from 1-2 hours in length. Sometimes it can take a few frames to get a person comfortable in front of the camera. Lighting. I like to shoot 2-3 hours before dusk or after dawn for outdoor sessions and mid morning-late afternoon in studio, this provides the best and most flattering light.

The skinny on Newborn sessions?
Due to the nature and frequent nurturing of the infant, I advise reserving additional time and expect a minimum of 2 hours. I do not rush the session, I let baby take as many breaks as needed. Baby’s comfort and safety is my number one priority. Newborn sessions should be taken within the first 10 days of life. During this time babies are still very sleepy and will be easier to pose.

Do you retouch your images?
All images are sent through post production editing. This includes minor skin retouching, color correction and artistic editing. There is no extra charge for this service, it is a standard part of the photo imaging process. Please understand heavy editing can be time consuming, which may lengthen your turnaround time.

Do you travel to locations we want and can I suggest locations?
-I spend time scouting locations and have a I love to use that offer a variety of options but I am open to shooting in new locations. I do charge a .55 cent mileage fee for travel time/fuel coverage.

Do you give people full resolution disks with printing rights?
I truly believe that I offer my clients quality images from a professional lab and it is important that your images are beautifully displayed. I offer image collections in a high resolution sized 8×12 print with a personal print release after $100.00 of print/album/wall art products have been purchased. Digital image collections start at $250.00 and $350.00 for Mini and Lifestyle Sessions.

What is the turn around time on proofs and prints?
-After your session expect your proofs to take up to 2 weeks time to undergo post processing and your gallery to be created. Clients are given 30days from the day their gallery opens to place their order. After that time there will be a fee for each additional week the client gallery is held open.

Why is photography so expensive, I have a friend who can do our pictures for cheap?
-Your friend can probably use their ‘nice’ camera and take some nice photos for you, so why pay the money? While this could be true, I invest in my business with high-end professional equipment and invest in my talent by taking workshops and classes. I want to put my heart and soul into creating and capturing beautifully distinctive portraits that you will have for a lifetime.
